A round display changes the whole product around it: the enclosure, the UI layout, the cover lens and the way a user reads a dial. HZY builds circular TFT panels for exactly the products that need that change — rotary knobs, thermostat and smart-home controllers, wearables-adjacent instruments and premium appliance controls.
The line is anchored by two production models. The 2.1 inch round TFT (480×480, ST7701 driver, SPI-RGB interface, 53.28×53.28 mm active area in a 56.18×59.71 mm outline) is the knob-display standard: big enough for a gauge UI, small enough for a 60 mm control. The 7 inch round TFT (1080×1080, MIPI) serves smart-home and showcase controls where the circle is the product's face. Between them, 2.76 inch 480×480 and square-format panels (3.4 inch 480×480, 3.95/4.0 inch 720×720) cover designs that want a circular UI on a square glass — often the cheaper route, since the corners hide under the bezel.

Designing with a circle
- Safe area first — keep critical readouts inside the inscribed square; corners are for decoration, not data. Our round display design guide covers the layout rules we see done well and badly.
- Interface reality — 480×480 over SPI-RGB is comfortable for most MCUs with a display controller; 1080×1080 needs MIPI and a SoC-class host. Choose the size your processor can feed, not just the size your industrial designer likes.
- Mechanical fit — round modules need a round window and a gasket strategy, not a rectangular cut-out with hope. Outline drawings (with the flat edge position, where present) are available for every model before you commit the enclosure.
Customisation
Custom FPC position and length are the most frequent round-display requests, followed by cover-lens printing and brightness steps. The 2.1 inch platform supports customised FPC directly from its listed specification. Minimums are friendly — the 7 inch round model is listed at a 1-piece minimum — and every panel is 100% inspected before shipment. For square-format alternatives that read as round in the product, see square TFT displays; for the broader smart-home context, see smart home LCD displays.
