Smart-home controls are the products where display shape became a design language: the round thermostat face, the knob with a screen in its cap, the square control wall-plate, the curved appliance panel. HZY's catalogue is unusually deep in exactly these geometries, because appliance and control makers are core customers — the half-circle module in our range exists specifically as a home-appliance panel.
The geometry menu
Round. The 7 inch 1080×1080 round panel is the centrepiece format for premium wall controls; the 2.1 inch 480×480 is the knob format, documented with customised FPC for rotary controls. Start at round TFT displays.
Square. 3.4 inch 480×480, 3.95/4.0 inch 720×720 and a 5.08 inch 720×720 give wall-plate and control-face canvases that read as round behind a circular window or stand as squares in their own right — usually the better-value route. See square TFT displays.
Half-circle. The 3.54 inch 800×640 semi-circular module with an 800 cd/m² backlight was documented for home appliances — washing, cooking and climate controls whose face is an arc over a button strip. See half-circle TFT displays.

Integration realities for controls
Wall controls live on small power budgets and wake from standby thousands of times; knob displays rotate — the FPC and connector strategy must be designed for the rotation stop, not improvised. Touch stacks for wall faces need cover-lens printing and edge rules agreed at drawing stage. All of this is scoped in the drawing round (about 3 days) under our custom LCD process, and the round display design tips collect the UI-side lessons.
Minimums are not the obstacle they are often assumed to be: the 7 inch round model lists at 1 piece on the platform, and square/knob models at 2 pieces, so a control product can start on standard glass and customise the FPC and lens as volumes grow.
