Touch is an assembly decision, not a checkbox: the touch sensor, cover lens and TFT panel have to be specified as one stack, with the bonding and the FPC exits agreed before the enclosure is drawn. HZY supplies TFT touch modules built on our own panels, so the stack is engineered — and inspected — as a single module.
The platform-listed anchor is the 7.0 inch touch TFT (1024×600), a complete touch module for control panels and terminals. Capacitive touch (CTP) is listed as an option on the 9.0 inch 1024×600 MIPI and 9.7 inch 1024×768 IPS models, and touch builds on other sizes are scoped per project — the design catalogue includes touch variants across the mid-size range.

Capacitive or resistive?
- Capacitive (CTP) — multi-touch, gestures, a glass-front feel; the default for consumer-facing controls and smart-home faces. Needs a controller matched to your host and a cover lens design that respects the sensor's edge rules.
- Resistive (RTP) — works with gloves, styluses and wet fingers; single-touch and a softer optical stack. Still the pragmatic choice for some industrial and medical-adjacent equipment operated by gloved users.
What to settle before ordering
Cover-lens thickness and printing, touch controller interface to your host, bonding type, and whether the touch stack changes the module outline — all four belong in the drawing package, which we return in about 3 days under the custom LCD process. Touch modules are 100% inspected as finished assemblies, touch function included, before shipment.
If your product roadmap starts non-touch and adds touch later, tell us at the panel stage: reserving the outline and FPC space in the first design is far cheaper than re-cutting the enclosure in the second.
