The dark-bottom build of the 128×64 COG family — a negative-look presentation where the content glows against a dark field. Products use it to make a monochrome readout feel like a designed interface, and to keep a device's face dark when idle. Same format ecosystem, different face.

About this module
COG (chip-on-glass) construction bonds the driver IC directly onto the glass, which is what makes modules in this family a few millimetres thick with no PCB behind the display. The trade is handling: the FPC is the mechanical interface, and the enclosure must support the glass rather than hang it from a board. In return you get the thinnest construction in the monochrome range — the construction battery-powered instruments standardised on.
Integration follows the interface stated in the specification table above; initialisation sequences for the ST7567 family used across much of this range are short and widely documented. Customisation around a standard COG module covers the FPC (length, pinout, pin count), the backlight where fitted, and polariser mode; full custom glass follows the tooling path described on the custom LCD page. Every unit is 100% visually and functionally inspected before shipment.

FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity?
This model lists at 2 pcs. Standard models across the range mostly start at 2 pieces, which keeps evaluation cheap; custom and tooled projects are quoted per design.
Can the module be customised?
Yes — FPC, backlight level, interface variant and (on TFT models) touch and cover lens are configured around the standard core. See the custom LCD page for the menu and process.
