COG (chip-on-glass) mounts the driver IC directly on the display glass, deleting the module PCB. What remains is the thinnest, lightest graphic module construction available — the 128×64 platform module is 28.5×20.0×2.9 mm complete — and the standard answer when an instrument's front panel has no depth to spare.
HZY's COG lines were added in two expansion steps (2018, 2021) and run automatic bonding equipment from the audited plant list. The platform-verified COG range below is the ordering catalogue; the full design range adds 128×32, 128×48, 132×64 and 240×64 formats.

COG or COB?
COG wins on thickness, weight and — at volume — unit cost. COB wins on mechanical ruggedness, connector variety and repair/rework. The detailed comparison, including when each construction fails, is in COG vs COB LCD modules. A common pattern in our order book: COG for the handheld and panel-meter products, COB for the DIN-rail and rack equipment from the same customer.
Interface on the COG platform centres on parallel 8080 and serial options (the 12-pin ST7567 module is the reference design); FSTN and DFSTN glass options cover the contrast and sunlight cases. Every COG module is 100% inspected, and matched LED backlights are built in the same plant.
